Imanari, Geo Martinez in for Combat Jiu Jitsu Worlds 2020

March 8th, Eddie Bravo’s Combat Jiu Jitsu Worlds gets a big boost of star power with Geo “Freakazoid” Martinez and Masakazu “Ashikan Judan” Imanari throwing themselves into the mix for the first ever featherweight championship.  They’ll be going up against 2017 CJJ Champ Chad George and 2019 Champ Richard Alarcon along with a field of 12 more fighters.

Imanari brings his years of Japanese MMA and Grappling experience to Combat Jiu Jitsu for the first time along with Martinez who was supposed to be on last year’s Combat Jiu Jitsu card but had to withdraw due to injury.  Freakazoid is one of the best grapplers in the world at his weight and has EBI Gold, Quintet medals and ADCC experience.  As always, it’s interesting to see how striking impacts high level grapplers.

More fighters will be revealed over the next few weeks.
