We all saw Bellator 149. Royce Gracie vs Ken Shamrock was a nightmare. First off Royce telegraphs his kicks like a white belt. I was happy to see him trying to throw head kicks, but those head kicks were air balls! Seriously Royce, get in there and grapple. 100% respect to you and your family for what you brought to martial arts. I have to say that a fighter needs to stick to what they are good at doing. Grapplers need to grapple. Strikers need to strike. Royce’s kicks were embarrassingly amateurish and he hit Ken in the nuts… Not really an honorable win. Kind of a cluster fuck to be honest.
