Hong Kong – Legend Fighting Championship, China’s largest globally recognized mixed martial arts event, will close out the year at Macau’s MGM COTAI on 28 December with a stellar nine-fight card set for the prestigious MGM Theater.

The main event of Legend 14 is shaping up as one of the promotion’s best yet, as two veterans of Chinese MMA square off for the first time.
Undefeated inside the Legend ‘Bafang’, BJJ specialist Yuan Chunbo returns after a dominant victory at Legend 13 to face an experienced and formidable opponent in Wang Yayong.
Competing since 2010, Yuan has faced some of China’s best, including UFC fighters Wang Guan and Buren Wuliji. At Legend 13 he defeated Liu Lianjie after three grueling rounds and now looks ahead to Wang Yayong.
A familiar name on the regional MMA circuit, Wang has competed at the highest levels of Chinese MMA since 2015 and now finds his way to Legend FC to face a battle-tested Yuan Chunbo.
A Shanghai local, Wang brings an aggressive style to Legend FC and will likely use his extensive wrestling skills to take the fight to the ground where he can work his ground and pound.
In the co-main event, two fast-rising female stars clash as “Supermom” Miao Jie steps up to face striking superstar Liu Jie.
Miao, who lives and trains in Shanghai, brings an unparalleled ground game to Legend FC as the only Chinese female to earn black belts in both Judo and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
At just 19 years of age, Liu has proven to be a difficult opponent, given her strong background in the striking arts. A BJJ blue belt, Liu trains out of Giant Bull Gym in Beijing alongside her brother and Legend FC veteran Liu Lianjie.
Further down the card and Legend, FC has put together a solid lineup, including exciting prospect Zhao Guoan, who makes his Legend FC debut against Li Fuyao.
Trained out of Fight King in Jinan, Zhao brings a well-rounded game to Legend 14, but will be tested against 21-year-old rookie Li Fuyao.
Also returning is Legend 13 80kg Sanda Tournament winner Yang Zhanwang, who meets formidable Mongolian wrestler Bideliya
