WLC: BATTLEBONES set for UFC Fight Pass this Friday





World Lethwei Championship (WLC), the world’s largest bare-knuckle fighting organization, held the official press conference for WLC: BATTLEBONES today in Yangon, Myanmar, ahead of the first WLC event of the year live this Friday on UFC Fight Pass.

Those in attendance included Middleweight World Lethwei Champion Too Too, challenger Naimjon Tuhtaboyev of Uzbekistan, Burmese superstar So Mi Ong Luktupfah, Cambodia’s top athlete Sok Rith and female Lethwei stars Souris Manfredi and Tran Thi Lua.

Middleweight World Lethwei Champion Too Too stated, “ Naimjon Tuhtaboyev might have beaten me once (in 2014), but this time it will be different. I will comprehensively defeat him!”

Challenger Naimjon Tuhtaboyev replied and vowed to capture the MLC middleweight title, “I have beaten him once and I am very confident. I can guarantee that I can knockout Too Too. One hundred percent!”

France’s Souris Manfredi stated, “Lethwei is like no other sport in the world. The way it tests you is incredible and this is the sport that I enjoy the most!”

WLC: BATTLEBONES is set for Friday, 31 January at Thein Phyu Stadium in Yangon, Myanmar.
