Featherweight Champion Choi Mu-Gyeom had his retirement fight as his fourth title defense against Lee Yeong-Jeong. The two engaged in a very technical striking match. In the first round, Choi got a knock down, and in the second round, Lee got a knock down. In the final round, Lee had another knock down, and Choi’s face showed a lot of damage. The Unanimous Decision made Lee Yeong-Jeong the new ROAD FC Featherweight Champion.
The battle of the legends Choi Mu-Bae and Fujita Kazuyuki was a short and powerful clash. Fujita landed a left hook to Choi’s chin to drop him, then pounded on him for a TKO.
Hong Young-Ki delighted his home town fans and friends with his flashy Taekwondo kicks. After three rounds, the judges awarded him a decision over Nakamura Koji.
Yoo Jae-Nam and Han Yi-Moon had their revenge rematch. In the first match, Yoo released a submission too early, and Han submitted him with a leg lock. This time, they fought two hard rounds. Han tried a take down, and Yoo defended with a guillotine choke, and he finished it on the ground to win by Submission.
Shim Yu-Ri and Lim Seo-Hee punched and grappled for two rounds. Shim Yu-Ri did much better in the grappling with several take downs, so she won by Unanimous Decision.
Shim Gun-Oh rushed towards Oh Jae-Hyeok with punches and got a TKO in just 23 seconds.
On Young Guns 40 preliminaries, Lim Dong-Hwan knocked down Park Jung-Kyo, then applied a guillotine while standing, and Park was unconscious on his feet as the referee stopped it. Go Gi-Won had a huge knockout over Kim Young-Han.
