Pancrase 307 Marks the Return of Mitsuhisa Sunabe

On July 21st Pancrase heads back to Studio Coast for their 307th event in their numbered series. This time the main event has the returning Straw weight King of Pancrase, Mitsuhisa Sunabe 29-8-4 (Win-Loss-Draw). He will be taking on the killer from Reversal Gym Okinawa Cross X Line, Daichi Kitakata 19-8-1, 2 NC (Win-Loss-Draw).

It’s been about a couple of years since Sunabe has set foot back in the Pancrase cage and since he won the Strawweight King of Pancrase. His last fight in Pancrase was a win over Shinya Murofushi 13-6-1 (Win-Loss-Draw) back at Pancrase 295 back in April of 2018. Since that time he has gone on to compete in other promotions like Rizin and another organization for an NC fight.

This time around he is putting up his K.O.P. strap up for grabs against Kitakata. This is not the first time they have fought. They initially fought at Pancrase 283 back in 2016. During that bout, Sunabe finished up this fight in the 2nd round with an RNC.  This time the tables may be turned as Sunabe is on a 1 fight losing streak and Kitakata is on a 4 fight winning streak. It will be 2 very determined men going into the cage for this fight and well worth the watch.
