Great news for Quintet. Kazushi Sakuraba was officially announced as the Ambassador of Sports for Akita prefecture.
Kazushi Sakuraba is a legendary MMA fighter in Japan and famous all over the world. He became famous due to his wrestling skills in Catch As Catch Can Wrestling and for defeating several members of the equally legendary Gracie family in Japan.
Currently Sakuraba is a producer for Quintet which has gained popularity all over the world for it’s unique rule set. Quintet is a team based, single match elimination tournament that started in Japan and has also started producing events all over the world. Under Quintet’s rules there are no points and the winner is decided by submitting his/her opponent or both fighter are eliminated.
As the Ambassador of Sports for his hometown Akita prefecture, Sakuraba will have a great opportunity to introduce Quintet to a large number of people in Akita and throughout the world.
