UFC holds the next event in Las Vegas at the UFC Apex Arena this coming Sunday, August 23, with UFC Fight Night: Munhoz vs Edgar. The main card will start at 8:30 a.m. Hong Kong and the prelims will kick off at 5:30 a.m.
Main Event
Fan-favorite Frankie Edgar, former lightweight champion and featherweight title challenger, reinvents his career yet again with his debut at bantamweight against #5 ranked Pedro Munhoz, a proven fight finisher with eight victories in the first round.
Co-main Event
The heavyweight onslaught continues as former interim light heavyweight title challenger Ovince Saint Preux takes on KO artist Alonzo Menifield.

- Takashi Sato (Japan) is returning after an amazing 48 second TKO victory to face Daniel Rodriguez who is seeking his ninth consecutive win.
- Mizuki (Japan) will try for her third straight victory in the Octagon against Amanda Lemos who most recently won by submission at UFC Busan.
- Mark Striegl (Philippines), SEA Games champion and highly successful veteran of MMA in Asia, will make his UFC debut against Timur Valiev, a Pankration and grappling champion who is also making his UFC debut.
