ONE: REIGN OF DYNASTIES Event Highlights (Photos and Videos)

10 October 2020 – Singapore: The largest global sports media property in Asian history, ONE Championship™ (ONE), returned to the Singapore Indoor Stadium in a big way, putting together a spectacular martial arts blockbuster that featured a handful of compelling, action-packed bouts. ONE: REIGN OF DYNASTIES was an audience-free, behind closed doors event that took place Friday, 9 October.

In the main event, ONE Strawweight Muay Thai and Kickboxing World Champion Sam-A Gaiyanghadao of Thailand successfully retained his Muay Thai World Title behind a near-flawless performance, stopping ISKA K-1 World Champion and number one ranked contender Josh “Timebomb” Tonna of Australia in the second round.

Sam-A Gaiyanghadao, ONE Strawweight Muay Thai and Kickboxing World Champion, stated: “This is our first event in Singapore since going on full lockdown, and it feels great to be back in the ONE Circle. Competing here, it really eased the pressure off my performance and helped me claim victory tonight. I was really nervous heading into this fight, since the sting of losing my flyweight title still lingers. I didn’t want to lose the strawweight belt this time around, so I did what I had to do and I made it. I am so happy tonight. This belt means a lot to me. It helps keep me inspired to train hard. I promise to all my friends, my family, my fans and to myself, that I will hold on to this belt for as long as I can.”
