Katsunori Kikuno aims for Tokyo 2020 Olympics





UFC and DEEP veteran, former DREAM lightweight champion, currently running amok in Garyujima, Katsunori Kikuno, is making a run to compete at Olympic level taekwondo in Tokyo, 2020. 

He will first compete in the East Japan championships on October 29, and if he can reach 3rd place or better, he will be able to participate the All Japan Taekwondo championships in January 2018. The MMA fighter with a karate base must win the tournament in order to secure himself a place on the Japanese taekwondo Olympic team. 

Meanwhile he will continue competing under the Ganryujima ‘moat fights’ custom rules.
