ROAD Fighting Championship opens Fight Week for ROAD FC 054 which will take place this Saturday, June 15, 2019 in Wonju, South Korea. The Middleweight Championship between La In-Jae and Yang Hae-Jun will be the main event.

The main event at ROAD FC 054 will be the first title defense for Middleweight Champion La In-Jae. He will take on challenger Yang Hae-Jun, one of the most well-known Korean fighters of the last ten years. La’s rise to become the ROAD Champion has been meteoric, so he wants to prove to the world that he’s no longer a prospect. He will again be tested by the power of deep experience that challenger Yang possesses, champion.

Another match in the hot middleweight division sees stand out rookie Hwang In-Su back in action against all-rounder Choi Won-Jun. Kim Se-Young meets his second opponent from Russia’s MPF, the entertaining Evgeniy Ryazanov.
Wonju’s hometown hero Yoo Jae-Nam will face Kim Tae-Gyun as they both fight to climb back into the bantamweight rankings. Openweight fighters will again make a big noise in a match between Shim Gun-Oh and Ryu Ki-Hoon. To open up the main card, thrilling Muay Thai striker Jang Ik-Hwan takes on rising bantamweight prospect Jung Sang-Jin.

The main event for the Young Guns 43 preliminary card will be a women’s atomweight match between former title challenger Park Jeong-Eun and Shim Yu-Ri, the inevitable clash between two of Korea’s most exciting female fighters. .
Muay Thai champion Oh Du-Seok will take on “Fearless Guys” TV show contestant Park Chan-Soo in a definite stand up war. Park Jae-Seong and Kim Young-Han will present a contrast of styles in the bantamweight division.
Three opening matches will showcase new prospects. Jang Jung-Hyuk versus Choi Woo-Hyuk in the lightweight division, a women’s bout between Rowan Pilger and Park Ha-Jeong, and National Muay Thai champion Kim Jin-Kuk versus Park Sung-Jun at bantamweight.
